National Girls Self-Esteem Ambassador Selection
Girls Self-Esteem Program Pageants are natural pageants for girls of all ages.  On the local and national level, G-SEP is host baby pageants for contestants who are 3mos-3 years.  Our nationwide Ambassador Pageant is for girls ages 4 to 18.  Along with selecting a national ambassador to promote the Girls Self-Esteem Program Mentoring Initiative, G-SEP Pageants awards each girl with a prize and funds that a raised are used to fund the Girls Self-Esteem Programs, workshops and chapters.

While pageants featuring children in what many consider “Drag” get most of the attention, G-SEP Pageants do not require make-up, hair pieces, or acrylic nails for girls as young as two.  Our entry fee is affordable and goes to a greater cause than those featured on television.

The highlight of our year is our July National Production Pageant where girls of all ages have the rare opportunity to perform on a theatrical stage with professional performers from New York City.  Professional ballerinas work with the contestants on poise, presentation, grace, and stage presence.  They also have the opportunity to see professional classical ballet performances performed by our guest performers.  Parents and supporters bring posters, bells, and whistles, as they heap praise and acceptance on G-SEP Graduates.

The show is televised locally.  Last year our local pageant drew more than 700 audience members. Our audience is encouraged to applaud the entrance, performance, and exit of all our participants on stage, with the same enthusiasm they would express toward a young-man of the same age in an athletic event.

State and Regional Queens There is no charge to compete for our state and regional titles.  Many will be selected from essays, letters of reference or selected by our representatives who will travel to many cities to personally interview and select G-SEP Queens.  Once selected, the expectation is that each Queen will attend our July National Competition and Girls Conference in Sacramento, CA. July 19-21, 2013.

Winners who compete in the National Girls Self-Esteem Program Ambassador Competition will participate in three days of fun activities.  On the third day we will crown our first National Ambassador who will receive $1,000 in Savings Bonds and the opportunity to travel the country serving as a role model to girls, and inspiring women to start G-SEP Chapters and mentoring programs in their communities.

Our non-profit self-esteem program awards every participant with an award based upon her own abilities and achievements.

Our third National Girls Self-Esteem Program Ambassador Selection will be held July 2013 in Sacramento, CA.  Our beautiful State Capital is home to the National Girls Self-Esteem Program Headquarters.

Televised

The pageant is televised in Northern California on a professional theatrical stage.
