We need help with our international efforts
The Girls Self-Esteem Program is currently a self-funded program. Parents do a great job of supporting the program by meeting G-SEP Academy Tuition Deadlines. However more support means the mentoring program can affect the lives of more girls throughout the world. We are expanding nationally and internationally. In 2012 The Girls Self-Esteem Program was called to help women, girls and their families abroad. We need both community and corporate support. Needed are mobility and assistive devices for the 10,000 amputees in Sierra Leone. Please see our page on Sierra Leone to learn how you can help.
We need your support for our United States efforts
Each year approximately 60 girls travel from all over the United States to graduation from the National Girls Self-Esteem Program Academy. Acadamies and workshops around the U.S. bring their students to Sacramento, CA for this major event. Along with local help mentoring and supporting local chapters in your area, our national production is in dire need of volunteers with expertise in lighting, staging and sound. Funds are also needed to offset the cost of the graduation which costs on average $15,000. Contact our office, we need your help. 916-739-1689
Financial Donations also help to pay for, classroom materials, desks, healthy snacks, theater rental, rent, lights, supplies and all the many, many things needed to run a mentoring program for outstanding girls.
